applefares.com, A site highly recommended in the newsgroup to search for fares on most low cost airlines.

Kayak.co.uk:- Just about the best search engine I've found so far.

lowfareflights.co.uk have asked to be included on this page and their site appears well laid out and the information quite extensive and certainly worth looking at.

For long haul flights try:-

Kayak.co.uk:- Just about the best search engine I've found so far.

Skyscanner.net:- This site I have seen mentioned and recommended it quite a few places. Will often find the cheapest if not the most convenient routing. Well worth a look especially if on a budget.

Flight Comparison it has had an odd mention in the newsgroup so worth a look, but it is limited to the number of sources it searches.
